Dublin is a short trip down the road from our workshop, and our own staff survey and install every gate we make there. There are no subcontractors: the people who measure your entrance are the people who fit your gate.
Choose from swing, sliding and pedestrian gates in solid Iroko, painted timber or metal, with automation if you want it. Our best-selling designs are the Oxford, Cambridge and Seymour.
Why Iroko?
Iroko is a dense, durable hardwood with a warm golden-brown colour that deepens over time. It is naturally oily, which helps it stand up to rain and changing seasons, and it is stable, so it is less prone to twisting and movement than many softer timbers. That makes it a great choice for a gate that is opened and closed every day.
We join our frames with mortice and tenon joints rather than relying on screws and brackets alone. It is the traditional way to build a strong frame, and one of the main reasons our gates stay square and true.
Gate automation

- Keypad entry: handy for family, visitors and deliveries.
- Phone control: open and close your gate from your mobile.
We supply and fit automation with our own gates only, planned alongside the gate itself so the motors, hinges and gate weight all work together. We do not automate gates made by others.
How it works
- Get in touch. Call, email or WhatsApp us on 07922302251 with photos of your entrance and a rough idea of what you want.
- Free survey. Our own team visits to measure up and check the posts, ground and any slope. There is no charge.
- Design and quote. We send you a drawing and a written quote by email or WhatsApp. Your quote stays valid for 8 weeks.
- Handmade in Belfast. Your gate is made to measure in our Belfast workshop.
- Installed by our own staff. Our team delivers and fits your gate, and any automation. We do not use subcontractors.
