Every timber gate we make is bespoke: we build it to the exact size of your entrance, in the design and finish you choose. Pick from our named designs, such as the Oxford, Cambridge and Seymour, or send us a sketch or photo and we will work it up into a design for you.
We make swing driveway gates, sliding gates and pedestrian gates, in natural Iroko or a painted finish, and any driveway gate can be automated.
Why we build in Iroko
Iroko is a dense, durable hardwood with a warm golden-brown colour that deepens over time. It is naturally oily, which helps it stand up to rain and changing seasons, and it is stable, so it is less prone to twisting and movement than many softer timbers. That makes it a great choice for a gate that is opened and closed every day.
We join our frames with mortice and tenon joints rather than relying on screws and brackets alone. It is the traditional way to build a strong frame, and one of the main reasons our gates stay square and true.

- Free survey. Our own team visits to measure up and check the posts, ground and any slope. There is no charge.
- Design and quote. We send you a drawing and a written quote by email or WhatsApp. Your quote stays valid for 8 weeks.
- Handmade in Belfast. Your gate is made to measure in our Belfast workshop.
- Installed by our own staff. Our team delivers and fits your gate, and any automation. We do not use subcontractors.
